MAPTA: Mid-Atlantic Physical Therapy Associates

MAPTA members can check out two items from the resource library. Follow the steps below to request items from the Resource Library:

1. Review the Guidelines for Resource Library Use before requesting an item. By requesting an item you agree to adhere to the guidelines listed below.
2. Download the PDF list of available resources (108KB).
3. Use the request form below to request items.

If you'd like to donate Physical Therapy texts or videos to the Resource Library, let us know.

Request Resource Library Items

All fields are required.

Guidelines for Resource Library Use

1. Each MAPTA member may check out two items at any one time. (i.e. two books, two videos, one book, one video OR one video series with several videos in the series)
2. No additional items will be loaned until previously loaned items are returned.
3. You will have a total of 6 weeks to utilize any loaned item. This includes one week transit time to the borrower, 4 weeks to utilize, and 1 week for the return trip back to the MAPTA business office.
4. MAPTA will schedule a drop-off and pick-up time and date with local MAPTA members.
5. If any item needs to be mailed MAPTA will pay for any postage to the MAPTA member and the MAPTA member will be responsible for any postage for the return trip to the MAPTA business office.
6. It is highly recommended to insure the items in case of damage that occurs during transit.
7. You will be informed of the due date and the value of the items in order to accurately insure any item that is loaned.
8. You will be notified when an item is overdue
9. If an item is not returned in a reasonable amount of time or is returned significantly damaged the borrower will be responsible to replace the item in the condition that it was sent to the borrowing member at the expense of the borrowing member.
